how do i make it so the page doesn’t display a tab but is still usable. i have a custom google search and only want my search page to display when the search is used. if a user is on my site normally i do not want them to see the tab for the search results

I played around with things and discovered that if I do not give my page a title, it won’t show up in the menu.

Also, for pages that I am staging but want to have a real path for testing, I created a private page with a 1 letter page-slug. I then make it the parent page.

I use this for pages that I want to be able to link to but do not want in my menu system.

Is there another way to do this?

Final thing. If I edit the widgets page and include the “Pages” widget, I get the entire menu system at all times. Without a modified widgets page only sub-pages show up. I would rather only subpages show up but want to use available widgets. How can I do this?

I want to use the anaconda theme - however, I create sub-pages that I do not want on the menu at all. How do I do this? I there a way to write a page but not have it appear in any menus.

For instance, I do workshops and occassionally I use a page to provide information about the workshop. I don’t want them in the menu system.

A couple of usability questions on tabs: (1) How can I change the first tab’s name from ‘Blog’ to ‘Home’?
(2) When I select any other tab, other than ‘Blog’, it does not change color from gray to red, so, if looking at the tabs, my user does not know what part of the website s/he is in. How can I change the color of the tab that is currently active? Thank you.

I am trying to use Anaconda theme for my site

The Problem I am facing right now is :

I had created Menus and submenus. By default the Menu appears on Tabs in the header and submenu appears in the left bar as Menu’s Submenu

if I use sidebar widgets and place the widgets on the sidebar 1, I loose the submenus for the menu.

Is there any way that I get widget option for the submenu which i can drag and drop from admin panel ? or just dont loose the submenu option if I use customized sidebar 1
